Tidbits: Henry Sibley High School was founded in 1954. It serves as the public high school for the communities of Mendota Heights, Mendota, Sunfish Lake, Lilydale, West St. Paul and parts of Inver Grove Heights and Eagan. In December 2020, the school board voted to drop Henry Sibley's name from the high school, citing his contentious history with the Dakota people in the state. It was renamed Two Rivers High School in June 2021.
